Couldn't make the game last night but looking forward to a few reviews on it.

Seems like a good result...or more so should i say a very good and valuable point.

Did Dack get a good reception?

    brb ( and others )
    1. Holy ( a couple of crucial saves ) - otherwise not really tested
    2. Zakuani - very solid in defence
    3. Byrne - worked very hard / but N0.3 a'toss-up' with Parker
This was a good all-round effort by the team. Although we were set up more to defend, it wasn't a bad 0-0 draw to watch. Parker made a big difference. The whole performance was deserving of a point -- and I don't think Blackburn did enough to warrant anything more than their point.

The performance - if it could be replicated throughout the season, still wouldn't be quite good enough to get into the top 6 places. We definitely need to recruit two or three 'better' players than we already have** - otherwise we will only be mid table next year. Dack got a very good reception. Blackburn were actually a bit better when he was substituted- prompting one wag near me to call out for him to be brought back onto the pitch.

** would be a good time to start a thread relating to retained / wish list for 2018/19

    1 Zakarni. ( Must be captain )
2 Ehmer( playing really well as right back)
    3 Holy ( some good saves )
Reilly and Parker made a real difference to the Doncastor game. Cant fault any player. Great point hope we can get at least one more win b4 season ends.
Dack got a good reception as did Samuel when he came on. Dack didn t do much with Byrne cutting him out most times

Battling performance led by the back four any of whom could have claimed MoM. Strong performance by Byrne also.

    1 Nugent
    2 Ehmer
    3 Byrne

Blackburn play their football through midfield, Dack is very much the centre of that, Byrne Hesenthaler and Parker stopped them from doing that so forcing them into a long ball game for our back three to mop up.

    1. Byrne.
    2. Hessenthaler.
    3. Parker.
