There was only going to one contender - Morris....before his dreadful pass led to Stanley's first goal - which seemed to change a dull game into a nightmare - of which the referee was already in the middle !.. How he, and the blindsmen didn't see all the shirt pulling of Gills players is beyond my comprehension.
Yet again, the Gills were outworked by a fairly poor opponent - who - quite frankly deserved the win - despite their time wasting and enforced drinks breaks! Accrington created better chances - and in the first half, only their poor shooting - and saves from Morris stopped the result from being worse. ....So, if I have to vote
    1. Little - reasonable work ethic and good goal.
    2. ....I won't be mean - Morris.
    3. ...71 Accrington fans - for their blind faith.

1, Maecus Whylie thought his movement was good and he did show promise.
2, Little for his goal and constant running.
3, Hutton some important challenges and movement on the wing.

Not easy picking 3 from this game and I am now starting to feel concerned of where our season is going.

    1. Morris, I know, I know, his mistake led to the goal, but aside from that he was outstanding and I was sad when he picked up his injury forcing him to go off.
    2. Little cracker of a shot, also helped out in defence preventing one of Accrington's many chances, also noticed him trying to boss the man marking, this guy has an intelligent brain and you can see him working hard, wanting all the cogs to click into place, proving you can only be as good as the rest of your team.
    3. Ashby-Hammond, came into the game at a difficult time and got down well to prevent an Accrington certain goal, I felt he deserved praise for that, hence why he is my third place.

Accrington were good for their win, no complaints from me. Although @alwaysright was correct to highlight the constant shirt pulling that the officials did nowt about. But also said and done, they put two of their many chances a way, and apart from a cracking shot from Little we were awful in front of goal. Maybe we might be needing Dack more than we realise if we can get him fit, but by that time it could be too late, as will be waiting for the January window, we need to sort this out and sort it out now!

Terrible of game of football that in my opinion no one from either side comes out of with any credit.

Star-player!! you are having a laugh - maybe the school children who looked more competent in front of goal than any of our players.

We got what we deserved yesterday and Acrrington didn't deserve much more. I have been watching football for over 50 years and coming to Priestfield for 40 odd years, and Accringtons players yesterday were amongst the worst I ever seen for feigning injury staying down, wasting time and generally doing anything to avoid an actual football match. And as for the officials ....... actually there no words for that level of incompetence.
