1. Bywater - made a couple of excellent saves (shame that County's keeper made ONE save that was better ) 2. McDonald - worked hard - chasing the ball - because it was rarely given to him. 3. Dack - not on the pitch long - but showed some sense of adventure
1) McDonald- Worked hard and should have had the penalty. 2) Bywater- Stopped several difficult shots. 3) Hessenthaler- Shouldn't have been taken off at half time, shouldn't have been booked either.
1.) McDonald- Sounds as if he had a number of chances. I just don't understand why he didn't take the penalty. Just knew it wouldn't go in when Norris took it. Nothing against Norris but he is young and I rather see more experienced players take penalties. 2. Bywater- Another good performance from him. 3. Loft- Great captain and leads by example. Great passer of the ball.
1) Loft - worked hard all game and to highlight an individual moment superbly controlled a high ball dropping over his shoulder before putting the pass through to Dack that resulted in the penalty. 2) Dack - if he'd have been on all game he'd have got the no.1 spot. Was the most effective attacking midfielder, defended back when necessary and was usually in space when not in possession. 3) Bywater - gets it over Macdonald simply because I think he did his job slightly better, but there's so very little in it.
