1. McGlashan ( not just because he didn't score an own goal)
2. Hause ( Despite the own goal )
3. Legge ( Peter Lloyd said he got the last touch for another O.G.)

Not sure what happened - We played some good football in the first half - passing our way - even when defending. We were good value for our 2-0 lead. Then came the corner which Nelson appeared to divert onto Hause and the ball went in to give MK Dons hope. The injury to Cody early in the 2nd seemed to unsettle the side - who then had an awful 10 minutes or so and by then it was 2-4. I was a little disappointed at the 'lower than expected' fight to try to retrieve the situation. I thought that Kedwell looked short of running well before the end of the game.
MK Dons created a little luck for themselves - and was rewarded with a lot more. I think we made too many mistakes in not being able to cut out crosses. It's obviously early days. I saw enough of McGlashan to believe that if we can supply him - he has enough skill and tricks to attack on the wing - and hopefully supply the crosses for our strikers.

This is a hard one after how the game ended so negative. Also not being at the game makes it a lot harder to judge as well as the intermittent coverage I was receiving.

1. Jermaine McGlashan- It sounded as if he played well. Lots of people said he didn't stop working.
2. Danny Kedwell- He scored a goal and played the full 90 minutes so I think I would pick him. Tough to name a defender after conceding 4.
3. Cody McDonald- He may not have completed the match but he scored a goal and won us the penalty. If he hadn't have got injured we may have won the game.

I don't think we need to worry. As long as Cody McDonald's injury isn't bad as well as Nelson then we should be fine. I am a bit worried that it is a knee injury for Cody as it is hard to judge what the damage is at times so it is too early to judge now. I hope we don't have to cope with him for more than a month otherwise we need to sign someone. I also think we need to bring in another keeper on loan so that we have some extra cover. Onwards and upwards to Tuesday.

1.) Legge- Despite his on goal,I thought Legge made some good timed tackles and headed the ball away most times.
2.) McGlashan- In the first half McGlashan terrorised Dean Lewington down the right, his pace and trickery was too much for them to handle. With MK Dons becoming dominant in the second half,McGlashan ended up having a quiet second half
3.) Cody McDonald- Cody Silenced any doubters after 6 minutes with a good finish past Martin.Cody proved that he will always score goals,he looked sharp and also won the penalty for our second goal.If he had not got injured on he would have been MOTM.

1. 3 points (Man of the Match) - Cody McDonald
2. 2 points (2nd best performing player) - Jermaine McGlashan
3. 1 point (3rd best performing player) – Jake Hessenthaler

I don't think anyone was great throughout the whole match but I think Cody would have been if he hadn't had got injured. Jermaine McGlashan was good in the first half but I think could have put more effort/ enthusiasm in the second half, but still provided the biggest attacking threat bar Cody in the first half. 3rd place I could have given to either Hessenthaler or Legge to be honest, but I think Hessenthaler perhaps edged it, as I always find it hard to rate a defender when we concede 4 goals but he definitely would have been my 4th choice.

Same as Gemini. Picked from reading reports, news, attending fans opinions and "gut feel" (if that's possible)

1. 3points Cody MacDonald
2. 2points Doug Loft
3. 1point Jermaine McGlashen

1. Cody Mac

In one half I think Cody put to bed the idea that he is not our main goalscorer. Pre-season counts for absolutely zilch when you are a proven performer. One goal, one assist (pen) and MK fans saying he outmuscled McFadzean on numerous occasions. That'll do me. I hope and pray young German can perform if given his chance now Cody is likely to be out for a while, but does anyone think he will score many/any?

2. Lofty

Numerous sources saying he was our dominant figure when we were going well in the 1st half. I get the impression Lofty might be our barometer. ie when he plays well, the team plays well.

3. Macca

Was hard to pick 3rd. I've gone for Jermaine because again numerous mentions of him being a real threat in the first half and very quick & tricky. That augurs well for the future. I might also (on reports) have picked John Egan, Aaron Morris or Danny Kedwell. I bet Keds enjoyed scoring against MK again...

Bit concerning that we dropped off after half time, but I'm not sure that's just fitness as said by many. I think the injuries (and therefore disruptions to normal subs) would have taken a toll. And when put under pressure by what is a decent team in MK, its never going to be easy. In fact, after conceding 3 goals in 5 minutes, we probably did well to limit it to that. Could possibly have been a lot worse in those final 20 minutes if we lacked fitness.

1. 3 points (Man of the Match) - Jermaine McGlashan
2. 2 points (2nd best performing player) - Cody McDonald
3. 1 point (3rd best performing player) – Joe Martin.

The first 2 are probably similar to a lot of others choices and won't get a lot of argument, Joe Martin (the scapegoat) might be more controversial.
I thought he pressed the ball very well and stopped/interrupted crosses from going in, most of the dangerous balls were from the other side of the pitch.

McGlashan earned points from every poster that submitted their selections. I didn't think i took in enough of this game to have posted but will place my first votes after the Yeovil game on Saturday.
