Let's hope he gets his applause when he bangs the ball in the back of the net at the Kop End (for us of course). I will be in the Anfield Lower Stand (unfortunately) so my applause may well be muted.
It was good to see Joey try and tell the Ref that a tackle on him did not deserve a yellow card for the West Brom player Saturday, Ref still gave the yellow of course!. Not so often you see that now.
We are actually much better at muting the home crowds on away matches thanks to all the tourists we get at Anfield these days. Apart from when Chelsea visit...don't think anyone has heard them sing before.
