SPL have said that standing areas can be reintroduced to stadia. I'm too lazy to stand nowadays but at least we might not hear all that pish over the tannoy every single game about 'safety regulations' and 'lateral movement'.

By the way, does anyone else find the photo in that story depressing? <laugh>

It's all you will hear after every song is banned for being offensive and the loud guy behind you is executed for having a sly puff in the toilet

I won't be going in any standing areas. My knees get too sore standing still for 10 minutes. It's a lot safer sitting down watching Rangers now anyway. Falling asleep standing up could cause some damage to the noggin.

Only "Real" Celtic supporters stand, anyone sitting down is merely complying with the wishes of the board and should therefore be condemned out of hand.

Being an oldey timey fan I look forward to the good old days being revisted, i'll never forget the first time I did i keech on the steps of the jungle.

    Happy days

I really hope they don't bring standing back. It doesn't make sense now people have got used to sitting down. A backward step. I mostly watch my football on TV now as Sky Sports is so fantastic but if I did go to another game, I definately wouldn't want to stand.

When I watch Celtic on Sky or ESPN I sometimes stand up for the whole game. The one benefit is that i don't have to queue for the toilet unless the missus has the skitters again. Even then I just piss in the bath or the wash hand basin.

    Problem solved.

To toffs - like what I am - it's the wash hand basin.

Next thing you'll be telling me you don't have a bidet <ffs>

    I don't have a bidet.

Old-fashioned sheets are good enough for me <ok>

I was attempting to fraternise with the Hoi Polloi, to me it's the "Bathroom" or the "Ibrox" but I doubt any of these oiks would have understood, hence me dumbing down my response.
