Petty politics.
Diminishing and devaluing the memory of our greatest ever manager, simply to get at his Grandson.
This is exactly why none of the 'usual suspects' should be working for CAFC.

Argubly the greatest three are Jimmy Seed, Alan Curbishley and Lennie Lawrence, the East & West Stands are unnamed so maybe we could rename them.
Interest in Seed is minimal.
Name the East and West stands after Sir Lennie and Curbs. The Covered End stays as it is.

Charlton Athletic have had three great managers in their history (in my view).
Some very good ones too, but three stand-outs.

We could name the toilet blocks after failed mangers - Dowie’s toilet ?
Maybe individual name plates for each urinal then and if they were really crap then they get their own bog
Pardew's Pisshouse, Slade's sh1tter, Uncle Les's Urinal.
