  2. Read some of the comments to that piece, including this one from AngryGooner:-

"This is basically Stan Kroenke saying we are ripping fans off as they are stupid enough to keep giving me their money. It has now become clear that this parasite is only at our club to steal money and that is it. He has no intention of injecting cash just taking it out, has no intention of turning us into a superpower just qualify for the champions league and it seems he has no interest in the morals and history of this once great club. As an Arsenal fan I will not be spending a penny on this club anymore until he finally sells up and Wenger and Gazidis join him. Kroenke's comments are disgusting and shows what contempt he has for the fans who pay for his £500m ranch in the States."

If IQ87 had any education or intelligence, this is what he'd sound like.

Most of my old Arsenal mates dumped Arsenal when the club sold its soul and left HIghbury then doubled price of season tickets.

It was a big mistake, leaving Highbury devalued Arsenal's brand. You make far more money from commercial revenue than gate receipts.

Made me laugh when Arsenal fans used to say they are the best run club.

Best run club is Bayern, developed commercial arm (admittedly easy to sweep up all the best German tie ups if you are Bayern), built new stadium while still winning trophies and kept real fans instead of ripping off JCLs like Arsenal

  5. I'm so glad that I did not put my heart and soul into supporting Arsenal. They have some right cowboys in charge - one of whom has just bought a fcuking ranch off the back fan loyalty! You could not make this stuff up!

No wonder the likes of Claude and IQ87 go off the deep end most weeks!

There are some extremely troubled times ahead for AFC.

It must be the most frustrating club to support. It used to have soul. Accountants Football Club

  7. The most frustrating thing for most Gooners must be the knowledge that nothing is going to change soon. That would destroy me.

IQ87 is protected from most of that - bless him. Such is the level of his fcukwittedness that he cannot grasp the fact that AFC's owners are content to keep finishing 4th every season, and have no intention of investing the money needed to help the club win titles and European trophies. He might scream and shout, but that's because IQ87 has absolutely no fcuking idea what's going on. For the likes of Pixie and that Welsh Gooner, however, it must be dreadful for them, knowing that Arsenal is never going to compete at the very top of either the domestic league, or Europe.

At least they've finally been honest. They keep Wenger because he does what it says on the tin. Mediocrity (for a club the size and with the infrastructure they have) each season, finish 4th, possibly snag an FA Cup once in a while.

Wenger is in trouble however as the other London clubs are stepping it up (among others). Wenger might be finding it hard to finish 4th this season.

  10. AFC, under Wenger, is slowly but surely becoming irrelevant.

That, more than anything else, has got to hurt Gooners.

They'll always be relevant to you HIAG.

I fear your life would have no meaning without them... or Piskie.

You're the yin to their yang, the bacon to their eggs, the cock to their balls.

I think HIAG must have been interfered with by a Gooner. Maybe one of the execs is a Gooner and thought he had the right to **** about with the receptionist.

  13. It amuses me that only two non-Gooners respond to my criticism of Wenger.

    Oh, how times have changed!

I'm not responding to your criticism of Wenger. I'm commentating on how your unhealthy obsession with Arsenal must be the result of some experience that has permanently scarred you, particularly as your interest in and understanding of football is very obviously on a scratch the surface level.

  15. Yes, you are. I made a criticism of Wenger, you (bang on cue) responded.

    This isn't rocket-science.

    <laugh>
    Let's break this down.

Unhealthy... Something is unhealthy if it harms ones health. What do you know of my health, Stan? At best, your comment is an assumption that I am unwell. You should check these things with me, first. Let me assure you that I am in rude health.

Obsession... At best, you might say that I have a compulsive personality, certainly not an obsessive one. I am compulsive about many things, especially in my work and, perhaps, with some of my internet activity. To say that I am obsessive, however, is going far too far. An obsession prevents a person from doing anything else, because it takes over that person's entire life. That clearly cannot apply to me; for a start, I use this forum for my own amusement; this is entertainment for me.

We all have those kinds of experiences, Stan. No doubt, you have repressed all of yours. That would explain why you are the way you come across.

For me, I am not afraid to explore the traumatic events in my life. It is then that one discovers that, in fact, there is no scarring, and that nothing is permanent.

Wow! When I implied that you are nothing more than Pixie's arse-piece, that really did sting you, didn't it!

Sorry, mate. I promise to go a little bit easier on you for the next few posts.

I was winding you up. Thanks for the essay!

  17. I know. That is why I used my "why are you doing this to me, Stan?" tactical response. It is one of the more complex weapons in my wum arsenal.

Wow, what a mixed up little puppy poor HIAG must be. I almost feel bad taking the piss out of him sometimes. <cry>
