Stan Collymore, although talking a lot of sense on Talk Sport, is very much a shouter on the radio these days. Very articulate, and it seems very well thought of! I can remember going to Villa Park (hospitality of course) when Andre Flo was making his debut for Chelsea. He (Flo) went on the score two goals in a 3-0 win and Stan was booed off the field after being anonymous for the game. He was on a real downer, and I am not certain if he played again for Villa When I hear his vociferous opinion these days, I can`t help but think back to that sad day. On a lighter note, spent a few minutes meeting Peter Osgood that day, who was the speaker (very accomplished and humorous) at the dinner beforehand. Sadly died a short time after.....nothing to do with meeting me!
collymore comes across as a bully on talksport. whenever a caller disagrees with him he seems to think that shouting over people will somehow make him more right, he doesnt accept any other views than his own, and he resembles a drunk fan ranting about anything and everything because he cant think before he speaks. at times you cringe listening to him. slick radio show host he is not
