Stalemate it was and chances were few
With defences both well on top,
But to take something here was in my view
So vital as we looked to stop,
The run of defeats, and looking around
At other results on the day,
We maintained our place without losing ground
So in that respect it´s okay,
We probably did just shade it maybe
But Martin R´s shot off the post,
Was the nearest we came to take victory
And Holt´s late header was almost,
But the clean sheet was a positive here
And had the free-kicks that we earned,
And corners been better delivered, it´s clear
The chances might not have been spurned,
But we´ll play better than that and still lose
Which always is harder to take,
So once in a while, if I had to choose
    Then I´d take a nil-nil stalemate. OTBC

    Have a good week all,

    Yours

Hi RBF, I have to agree mate, it was very stale! ;)

At least it put an end to a four game losing streak and also gave Bunn a first clean sheet! Thank goodness we've got easier opposition next week <yikes>

We do generally play much better against better teams, and Anfield is no fortress this term, so who knows?
