Stadiums that you were surprised weren't **** holes?

  1. Before i went to Stoke and Blackburn for the first time last season, i expected both grounds to be dumps, but actually, they're both quite nice. Stoke has a nice design to it and is in a nice location, Blackburn has quite a decent ground as well. It gives you a nice view of the forest and scenery from the away end.

Anfield really surprised me in the opposite fashion, it's such an over hyped stadium, absolute ****, almost as much of a **** hole as Goodison park.

I was more impressed with Darlington's ground than ****ing Liverpools tbh.

St Andrews is ****, villa park is akin to the old concrete car park in Gateshead that just got pulled down and the hawthorns is possibly the worst in brun, except for the highlights screen. Stadium of ****e isn't that bad in comparison, it's just obviously a temporary build out of mechano.

<grr> All four stands are covered these days!! Couple of holes in the roof and a bit of rust never hurt anyone!!

Back to the topic, Doncaster have a nice ground and I was expecting it to be a shed. It's a bit generic though.

Stoke is a crap location but nice stadium. I quite liked Cardiff City's new ground. Villa and Everton are ****e, as is Birminghams. West Brom is indifferent, Molineaux will be nice when done. Quite liked Craven Cottage and Carrow Road in a different from the norm kind of way.

Craven Cottage has always been a nice ground with decent fans too. Molineaux and Goodison could both do with a good freshen up.

Goodison needs flattening. Wooden floorboards where I was last season up near the back of the stand. The new stand at Wolves will be pretty nice.

The away bit at Bristol City was a bit shoddy to say the least, but generates a good atmosphere.

I honestly reckon Villas aint that bad . Molyneaux was a massive let down ! will be a lot better when that stand is finnished. The Wolves fans were rubbish too .

The worst are Bolton and Leeds, both ****holes.

Best stadium I've been to is the Galpharm in Huddersfield - its awesome.

THIS !!!!! from what iv seen is ****e and should be called Brown Field FC ..... they obviously found a bit of disused waste land and thought , right we willl wack a new stadium on that , it really has no relevance to Stoke itself.

Was at the back at Goodison too, restricted view due to all the support poles. Very badly thought out.
