Right we all know about this and its nothing new but with us getting full houses every week and the atmosphere getting better recently the stadium shaking has been highlighted abit more. Its quite surreal to experience it at first but we are used to it now The only thing that has ever worried me about this was the fact we aren't allowed to have concert at the King Power because there worried that the stands will crumble http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/L...-ahead-stage/story-20907435-detail/story.html Does anyone know of any other stadiums that are known to do this? is it just part of the stadium character? or was the building quality ****?
Don't Southampton have an identical stadium to us? I haven't heard of it happening there, are their fans just not as good as ours?
Can“t be right, has it been surveyed & a proper check made ? I remember when I was at the UEFA cup final, Livrerpool v Alves in Dortmund & I was in the south end, I think, which is normally standing but what they have to do is put temp seating in. Any way those seats were swaying left to right. Quite a strange experience, but they were only temporary, to have a `fixed`stadium sway ???
It's that drummer - he's playing at the stadium's resonant frequency. Maybe it's time to get rid of him before the stands collapse.
Ours was reasonably cheap wasnt it? It seems one of the lower spec of all those pre-fab kit stadiums that everyone was doing around the early 00's.
My recollection is that ours was built with foundations for future expansion - given the crowds this season I hope the owners will indeed expand if we stay up - with reasonable pricing (and the current squad plus further additions) I firmly believe we could sustain crowds of 40k+ - which is what we are going to need if the dream of becoming an established Prem team is to be realised .... would also be a good opportunity to tighten the bolts on the wobbly bits
