http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-18193878 Anyone seen this story, also being reported on points west. I think it's nonsense and think the opponents are getting desperate Thoughts ?
Glad BCFC have declined to comment. Might have been vaguely believable had one of the people they quoted hadn't gone ridiculously too far, claiming old friends and family had become distant. I think the summary you made of them getting desperate is bang on the money.
Yes any vandalism may be stadium related. Then again it may not be. Nothing new for Ashton Vale and Silbury Road. I had the same happen to my car when I lived there nearly 40 years ago!
May explain why OTIB seems to be offline, I think we need to be very careful what we say about the village green mob on here or any forum as they will use anything as ammo against the stadium.
while i detest vandalism and supposed intimidation, i wonder who the true vandals are. those who throw bricks, or the luddites who oppose job creation and progress, on a widely welcomed scheme on the grounds it happens to be in there locality.
Unfortunately there are some that could think doing this helps the cause, or it could be some people living in a area where vandalism is high using it to their advantage blaming football fans! Either way vandalism is never nice to people concerened
A hoody in a mask being interviewed, windows being smashed on camera, cars being keyed recorded on film, all actors and all staged by the BBC ,what a pathetic, dishonest and lying bunch of bastards the BBC has sunk too, they really are the sewers of news reporting.
