What is it with playing Sunderland away. We've never won a PL game there and today it seems we were not at the races. Having the skipper sent off does not help and from all accounts it was a harsh decision but it's not the first time we have come away from the SoL with nothing.
Pretty shocking really. Going back to my point in another thread, we can neither expect or rely on Walters leading the line - he spurned another sitter at 0-0. I'm a big fan of Hughes and have the utmost respect, but he has to rectify the striker issue.
Shawcross is an idiot he could have had 5 or 6 yellow cards and a couple of penalties. Cattermole for us has the same potential unless he can stop being stupid drop him completely
