The Supporters Club and Trust meeting was held last night. Martin Griffiths and David Lloyd from the club were present to give an update mainly to the Supporters Club and Trust about where the supporters bar will end up as part of the redevelopment. This location cannot be confirmed yet as we need to discuss things amongst ourselves, as to whether we are happy about this, but I can say that things were very positive from this aspect. HOWEVER, Martin Griffiths has confirmed I can say the following regarding release of images, as the question obviously came up. In 2 weeks time (2 weeks because the images are being drawn as we speak) there will be the release of a couple of images of what the stand will look like if you are stood pitchside looking up at the stand. On the 4th of December there will also be a meeting open to the public in the evening where further updates and images will be released. A fly through is also being developed to show what the whole redevelopment will look like. The reason for the delay is because the club were hoping that rail seating could go ahead, and every time an image is produced it costs the club £2k, so they are trying to keep costs as low as possible by not producing images until they were confident what it would have in it in the way of seating. Hope that helps, everyone is welcome to the meeting on the 4th of December if people want to see more updates. Details of this will be released in due course.[/quote] Copied from OTIB
It does not cost £2000 to produce an image of a stand. All that needs to be done is a minor modification, which would have cost nil as the cost would have been absorbed by producing two images of the two differing designs choices last year. Bit of a slippery one this Martin Griffiths.
