I went to the stadium today. There's a bank of power points gone in with underground cables across to the stadium. I assume this is for media support vehicles?

Nah, it'll surely be for the duff PA system we've had to endure for years.

Failing that, more disco lighting round the pitch for the easily pleased.

No, it is to be able to electrocute anyone daring to express any thoughts the Allams disapprove of.

Not sure why this would be needed, nothing has changed in this regard since we were last a PL club.

They're changing the blue and yellow to black and white?

You'd think KCOM orange, which is practically amber, would be the obvious choice. As if the stadium needs any more black!

I have no idea either. There's definitely been a trench dug and cabling laid - then a bank of these boxes which seemingly have hook ups for live feeds from the stadium with what looks like dedicated parking.

That's the only reason I took the picture and posted it.

Think they are cabling up for 'AutumnWatch' to be transmitted each night from the waste ground just over the railway line in late September. Endangered newts and tatters' horses to be featured strongly.

Despite the other guesswork the OP had it spot on from the start
They've put a sort of mini car park in and it is for Sky etc so the cabling will for exactly what you suggest
I was there recently discussing it

There already was a 'mini car park' for OBs etc. Or is this in a different place?
