Ok I have it from a source that the number one location for our new stadium is some land in Hanwell, Ealing.

I have a friend and she keeps a horse on the land where TF and the gang want to build the stadium and she has been to serveral meetings regarding this as she will have to find a new home her four legged friend.

The exact location and further details to follow! (Hopefully)

Could well be one of the sites, wonder if we need a thread listing all the rumoured sites!

???? This isn't what we was lead to believe. I'm pretty sure TF stated that the new site was close to LR Mortlake.

Decent public transport links. Local neighbours would be Hanwell Town.

It's not an area I know at all. Looking at google maps, the nearest tube station appears to be Boston Manor on the Piccadilly Line. Handy for those travelling from Heathrow.

My family live there, spent almost every weekend there when I was younger. The transport links are excellent.

As you've said Boston Manor on the Picaddily Line so that's handy for fans coming overseas or via Heathrow.

Brentford is a stones throw away so good for SW London/Home County based QPR fans around Barnes, Mortlake, Chiswick, Surrey etc and of course almost every bus there goes via Ealing.

It's not the most glamorous of areas but decent anyhow

Maybe she might have space for a few of our two legged ponies (Rob Hulse?) currently on lucrative contracts who want to fight for their places on the team? (bit mean, but couldn't resist!).

There are no open spaces in Hanwell big enough for a Football stadium, apart from the 'Bunny Park' and I am sure the council wouldn't allow that, the nearest area to it will be Warren Farm where the new training ground is. And your friend was invited to high level meetingsw that no one knew aqbouit because she owns a friggin pony. In other words a load of bollocks

Not sure there is much land in Hanwell to build on. (I'm from Southall). i know the area very well!!

Maybe the ground where Hive used to play, by boston Manor st. Or up the road a bit in the park oppo the royal pub.

more likely to be Gunnersbury Prk i think. Large enough, good links and easy access.

tey could always use the "bunny park" and knock down the white flats to do everyone a favour.

Also, there is a running track next to Gurnel pool. a stadium would fiit alongside nicely. Its all true though...

Not sure about the horse thing though? where are they kept !

for those of yuo who dont kniow the area, i appologise as this must sound like crap !!

Its a decent walk to LF from hanwel, but do-able and plenty of pubs in Chiswick or acton to stop on the way !!

    Done it many a time!

I was about to say the same thing. No offence but to the OP but you've as much chance of finding a Polar Bear in Hanwell than a Horse <laugh>
