Tony said we will be making a profit in 2 years time and the only way to do that is if we have it finished for 2014. That would be amazing and doable.
No chance imo. There are many many hurdles to overcome like planning, funding, design etc.. It will take at least a year to do all that and thats before a contractor is appointed ready to start on site - demolition if needed (like unigate), then actually build the thing which will take a few years - just look at the Olympic stadium. TF said a few days ago we would be self sustainable in 3-4 years - that is more like it I think.
The emirates took 2 years. The design is being worked on and its the land acquisition holding us back. The olympic and wembley took so look because it involved the FA and the BOC. Its doable if we get the land by august.
The only way we will be making a profit in 2 years we be if we sell diakite for 50million, 2years may be when the stadium is complete. 2014-15 season will take a few years to be making a profit imo.
