I like the idea of it but we will never fill it more than 4 games a season and not even that should we go down...
Very interesting ,well someone has faith in the club .Very few clubs sell out every match so nothing new there .It gives the walk in's more opportunity to watch a game which has got to be better than the minority at the moment .
What's that based on Dai, One poor season that can still be salvaged! you cannot plan because of one poor season, whether we go down or stay up, our Fan base is growing and the club need to cash in on it, more the merrier in my view!...................
empty seats with the so called lesser clubs should give you a clue dragon, the city and surrounding areas cant afford to pay £35/game which will more than likely rise to pay for the extension. they wold be better off turning one of the stands into a stand only until we are an established club. we have not been in the premiership 5 minutes and if the atmosphere is dire now what will it be like if we get relegated now or in the next few years....
Interesting to see that the at the rear of the three stands as it currently stands, will be hospitality boxes then the extra tier goes above these boxes. So plenty of extra revenue from these boxes. Will look nice when and they finally get this underway.
Yes i like it very much but i think it will be a white elephant more than anything..its a bit too early in the day to think about expanding, mind you if it was just for hospitality boxes with say about 1 or 2k seating then i can see some sense in that...
Dai as you deal in facts, try this one! We have the smallest ground in the Premier League and there are more than 8,000 waiting for season tickets, Now sit down and shut up will you...........
If we stay up, we need to get on this straight away. The ground is too small for us currently, getting it up to 33,000 odd would be just right I reckon. I think we should worry about getting out of this relegation battle first though.
We can't afford to stand still, while the club has the public interest atm ,then it's better to do it now than wait .Obviously remaining in the PL has a huge bearing on how large and in what time frame it's extended but now is the time imo
This was was on the agenda with planing today and past, so it is going ahead. http://www.southwales-eveningpost.co.uk/Plans-increase-Liberty-Stadium-capacity-passed/story-20489143-detail/story.html
Dragon don't tell me to shut up pal. I have as much rights to make my comments on here as anyone else...now be a good boy and apologize..
But if the council own the stadium and the Ospreys aren't filling it and certainly won't chip in towards the costs, then are we paying to upgrade something we don't own? More seats would be great, could see more matches! It makes sense to do it now while the going is good and as the tv money goes up.
exactly.. Im for any expansion in principle but not yet. we should wait until we can buy the stadium and become much more stable in the premiership than we are. The team is more important than any expansion while we are just a third tenants...
