Looks like things should progress now, as the last thing blocking the development has gone. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-tottenham-hotspur-stadium-scheme-gets-the-green-light? Not sure what this means for the Archway Steelworks, but I don't think it's good.
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-tottenham-hotspur-stadium-scheme-gets-the-green-light About time!
I wonder if this is related to David Lammy posing this question to Eric Pickles a couple of weeks ago: Can you say why the development for Spurs, which is currently with the department on CPO, has been with the department for 14 months, might you reach a decision shortly and can you confirm (Mr Pickles) is in fact not an Arsenal supporter?
It'll be worth checking that link again in a few days. I don't think they've published the full decision letter yet.
I can imagine the Archway Steelworks bastards will fight this decision. Look how long Brighton's stadium took to finally get approved. Sadly I still think we will be waiting a couple of years longer.

Bet that has given Daniel Levy a heart attack, it will means spending money On a serious note, best of luck with the new stadium
This is the news that Gooners have been dreading! The mighty Spurs Juggernaut is soon to get an upgraded engine!
No that I'm a fan of compulsory purchase orders. Someone ends up losing the land or real estate they've owned possibly for generations but this is great news for the club that we can finally get the new stadium we so desperately need built. Let's hope the one's who have parted with their land will get decent compensation. Doubtful but one can only hope so. COYS!
Everyone else had long since accepted the clubs' offer for their land - except the NIMBY twatsack at Archway Sheet Metal, but now he's wishing he accepted the offer when he had the chance.
A claim is that is Archway own the freehold for their premises. And that Levy did an 11th hour Levy on them when a price was allegedly agreed.
