Hmm I wonder why Hayes ignored that offer. Maybe something to do with him not being able to make money out of selling AP. The whole situation is a mess and we're still greeted with a wall of silence from him.

Reads a little bit like an ar*e covering statement by the council for when the inevitable happens.

I'll come back to my age old point I kept raising re the published long term aim of WDC to develop a stadium somewhere in the Abbey Barn Road area (can't remember exactly). Buy the club off Hayes for the £4m or so and get rid of him. Then sell off the land in chunks for development amassing around £14m. Use the profit to develop a new stadium in line with their original long term aim. I'm sure the rates for all of Bucks (inc Milton Keynes) could be raised slightly to help out with it hardly being noticed. Didn't all Bucks ratepayers fund the MK development to some extent? If so, pay back time. Apologies if I got this wrong.

It just goes to show that if it's not producing massive wads of cash, Hayes isn't interested.
