Apparently for years Portsmouth Football Club have been doing their bit to fight the declining dung beetle population, by installing massive piles of sh1t around Fratton Park. Strangely though this act of goodwill has gone largely unnoticed.

Well, we do have a forum rule that states that all threads should be titled relevantly and properly so that people understand the nature of the thread. So I was just saying for the future. Basically, I'm saving myself work ;)

Was horrified to read today that Gwyneth Paltrow had undergone beauty therapy involving multiple bee stings. Bees are held in tweezers and rubbed against the skin until they sting (when of course they die painfully). Pity she didn't get anaphylactic shock. That is a pointless waste of a valuable insect...not for food or medicinal purposes, but just vanity....and I bet it doesn't work.

There's a line about Gwyneth Paltrow already having bees stings, but best left alone I think ...

Bee's need all the help they can get. Tough times for them.

The more I hear about Gwyneth Paltrow's eccentricities, the more I fall in love with her. Might have to draw the line at killing innocent bees though. I'd sort of hoped she might just be luring the bees on to her by covering herself in honey...

I'm off for a lie down now.

On that note I agree we all should be trying to help these creatures. People do not realise how much we need them and how important bees are to the food chain.

Indeed, I don't want to be issued with an official pollen brush and have to do my personal quota each day. Especially when it's at the end of pollinating time and you go to every flower or veg and it's already been done. Bring back the bees.
