    Taking a night off from his scouting duties for Newcastle, Graham Carr is to be the guest speaker at a charity dinner on Tyneside next month for St Oswald's Hospice.

    The venue is the Marriott Hotel in Gosforth on Thursday October 18th and tickets are on sale now, priced £450 for a table of ten including a three course meal. Individual tickets and VIP packages are also available.

    Anybody up for paying £45 for what should be a really good informative, fun kind of evening?
