    Day 3 scores

Today's racing produced some decent scoring with quite a few races leading to points although some naps were missed due to Opinion Poll getting beat with the race seemingly at his mercy. That one race would have changed the look of the table quite dramatically with Ron landing his nap and closing the gap and Karlos making the final. A special mention to Karlos once again also for finding the winner of the day in Lyric of Light at 9-1.

Alas as it is we have the leader really opening up again as Ron drops back, but can he dig in and come again Rock of Gibralter style. Bjmbubbles is someway off the lead but seemingly going well in himself, he is going to need to finish with a rare old rattle but he has been here before knows what is required and it would be foolish to write him off just yet. One day, one card but still all to play for, it's where the muscles will start to get tired, the lungs will be reaching for breath to feed them at a rate that causes the ribcage to expand beyond what seems possible, some may say enough but these three will give everything to come again knowing instinctively where the line is and refusing to look up until it is passed. This run up the homestraight is going to be quite something. We will return to the action after this short break in which we find out just how Myleen lost her purse on the way to the races and Faisel recieves a signed cricket shirt from Freddie Flintoff and wears a smile that suggests his whole existence has found meaning.....

Sir Barney and BJMbubbles have the same score but BJM goes through as although both have found 3 winners Bjm has 5 seconds to Barneys 3.

    St Ledger meeting final Standings

After a competative final days racing The leaders could not quite ever get to the quarters of the Leader who was very fast out of the stalls on day one and stole a lead that was just too much to peg back despite some gallent efforts from those in behind. A special mention to BJMbubbles for great consistency on the final day as he had no less than 5 2nd places out of 7 races and to Ron who went into second place on the first day and stayed there throughout. Thank you to all who entered it was a lot of fun and i look forward to the next time. :emoticon-0150-hands

I didn't enter, but I wasn't at all surprised to see Blue get home. if a market was framed for any tripping comp, Bluey would be among the favs.

    Well done mate. <applause>
