Looks like we did our best to get this guy but the Preston Chairman was having none of it.

£3m is a fair price, it's pretty obvious the guy wants to move on in his carear & Celtic is the team he wants to play for. St Ledger had heard rumours of a bid but Preston refused to tell him & even blanked him when he tried calling them

I don;t understand why you'd want to keep an unhappy player at your club. I'm sure he's not going to do a Gallas & threaten to score own goals unless he's transferred but it wont do him or the team any good.

With the Ramis deal falling through we could have done with this guy, Hoovields injured, Loovens is a timebomb which leaves us with O'Dea & Thomson who've done well but we need cover too.

I expect him in the Hoops come the summer mind.

Heath Ledger would probably be better than the defence celtic have at the moment.

Can't believe Naylor got a game when O'Dea's been playing well, Caddis looked impressive too.
