I am really looking forward to seeing why Sven rates SStL over Hobbs?

I can understand the others Mills and Woodgate may be coming in as they seem a different class, but why would you sell one guy for just under £1m and buy one for just over?

I suppose this is where all those CM playing geeks will come in and state hobbs is 5 points slower than SStL!
 
It's because Hobbs is 5 points slower than SSL

I think it's because SSL can play the ball out of defence.

Although I still don't see why hei worth double the amount Hobbs is...
 
St Ledger is ****. I'm not just saying that to be controversial or funny, or to take the piss, I just genuinely think he's one of the worst footballers I've ever seen.

I say that regardless of how good or bad Hobbs is.

PS. Yes, I know he's played for Ireland, but Paul McShane has captained them, and he's a shockingly bad footballer.
 
Well i didnt see the point of starting a new Hobbs thread, so thought i would simply add to the most recent one.

Hobbs has said what we all knew was true for a long time, that 'The Chief' as he calls him did not have him in his plans from an early stage. The loaning out was a big message for him that he was not needed and then he was given the nod to leave this summer.

If Sven beleives he can mould a team with defenders like SSL then i for one am happy to back that:
