I am really looking forward to seeing why Sven rates SStL over Hobbs? I can understand the others Mills and Woodgate may be coming in as they seem a different class, but why would you sell one guy for just under £1m and buy one for just over? I suppose this is where all those CM playing geeks will come in and state hobbs is 5 points slower than SStL!

St Ledger is ****. I'm not just saying that to be controversial or funny, or to take the piss, I just genuinely think he's one of the worst footballers I've ever seen. I say that regardless of how good or bad Hobbs is. PS. Yes, I know he's played for Ireland, but Paul McShane has captained them, and he's a shockingly bad footballer.
You should have seen his performance for Preston against us in October (or November?) at Deepdale. One thing to sum it up -
I could name one or two where hobbs has had a mare, as could you with your defenders, that is why you have bought Hobbs!
I have to say that every time he's played against us he's been **** as well. Don't rate him at all, would be very happy to see Bamba, Mee, Mills and Tunchev as our centre backs next season.
Well i didnt see the point of starting a new Hobbs thread, so thought i would simply add to the most recent one. Hobbs has said what we all knew was true for a long time, that 'The Chief' as he calls him did not have him in his plans from an early stage. The loaning out was a big message for him that he was not needed and then he was given the nod to leave this summer.
