St. Ledger to Ipswich

Sky are saying Ipswich want St. Ledger. Surely we can sell him unless Nigel has at least 2 defenders coming in

I have never really rated St. Ledger but at this stage we cant afford to sell him.

I think Hull can expect a bid for Chester

 

Doubt if he'll go - unless we have a replacement lined up but there are no rumours about that aside from Shotten who is a RB.

 

If Nigel bids for a good CB and is successful with said bid then I think there is backup ready to allow Shaun to leave.

 

I not too fussed about St. Ledger leaving as I think there is better out there. But it does strike me as odd? If St. Ledger was always going to leave why hasnt Nigel gone out and signed a replacement already?

The only thing I can think of is this is a reaction from Nigel after Tuesday. Maybe Nigel is feeling the pressure and he is doing this to prove to the team tuesday was totally unacceptable and can never happen again

 

have always suspected that pearson would attempt to get Chester in the transfer window and the sales of Millls and Bamba have strengthened that .. whether he can get him or not is, of course, a different matter ..

 

Nigel seems a little desperate if he gets rid of St. Ledger. If Beckford, Gallagher and St. Ledger leave that will be alot of money brought in and wages saved

So maybe he would then spend 3-4M to get in Chester. But its weather Hull will sell or there is a release clause in there

I think Leicester can expect an answer of no, subject to the suggested bid

I imagine they do want him, but they wont get him. Doesnt mean the story is wrong, but he wont be sold. Hey, we wanted Maynard and Beckham, doesnt mean they will be sold.
