After tomorrows game until may 4th. Has Pearson finally lost the plot?? before you ask....it's on our official website!
Maybe for the best - get a month of fitness in him then back fit again. One of the hardest things to do is get a CB fit again after a long injury as its such a high-risk position and you dont want to break up your current pairing if it is working.
Our number 1 Leicester fan "charlie the fox" got the scoop on this one.. good Pearson move .. keep all our miss firing forwards and get rid of our experienced defenders.. magic !
But he is better than Moore and Whitbread.....if Big Wes or Keane get a knock it seems daft having your next best defender at another club. If we have a recall clause then maybe i can understand it
Its just for match fitness. I wonder if he will be involved for us tommorow I hope we get something simaliar done for Jamie Vardy
With the exception of goalkeepers you can't recall a player in the first 28 days of an emergency loan (which is what this will be). I guess he's cup-tied? If not why is he not being left to cover the FA Cup Final as well? You would be able to recall him after 28 days regardless of how long the loan deal was done for, and after today he can't go anywhere else anyway.
no he is not cup tied. Good move by Pearson, get him up to speed fitness wise which he wont do by sitting on our bench warming it up.
I don't understand this at all. Our threadbare squad is being thinned even more- anyway I personally would probably have started St Ledger against Millwall rather than Keane, who I think can get bullied by aggressive players. I suppose if we're going to loan him out we have to do it now, but there are players I'd have preferred to have gone (incidentally, not Vardy- I don't think loaning him's going to make him any better. He's 25 and if he was going to be good enough for this league he should be showing it by now. Waghorn's young enough to still improve), and I'd have much rather us have signed someone instead. I know they're in our league and aren't that good, but I'd have liked to have signed Stuart Holden from Bolton, which Wednesday have just gone. WE NEED MORE IN MIDFIELD.
He won't be. He's a Millwall player now until at least 24th April. 25th April onwards he can be used by you as he can then be recalled under the emergency loan rules, although he's set to stay with them until the end of the regular season. I suspect if you're not in the playoffs and Millwall are in the Cup Final it will be extended (if it's not already in place and they're just saying 4th May so that people don't go thinking it rules him out of the playoffs.
Id have taken Olifinjana from Hull on loan til the end of the season, tough tackling midfielder we need to at some bite in their. (if fully fit)
Great to see well thought out opinions on here. Some absolute tripe on the Ltillidie site. At best he was only going to be on the bench so match fitness can only help us later if required.
Is that confirmed? I hope so as Whitbraed hasn't proved his fitness and Konch is no centre back (although great effort tonight)
