    It's bad when in the forces the Irish got paddys day off to go in the lash, when st George's day came around is was work as normal.

    They won't ever make it a bank holiday because it's too close to Easter and Mayday bank holidays

    Better idea to have a bank holiday on November 11th Nicely spaced between August bank holiday and Xmas.

    Better still to have November the 5th as a national holiday to remember the last person to enter the houses of parliament with good honest intentions.

    Saint George was theologically, epistemologically and culturally a Muslim , a man who believed in Hazrat Eesa as the Prophet of Allah; a man whose mother was Palestinean whilst he himself was Turkish
