why are redknapp, souness and carragher on the news? all world beaters and winners of everything.................not!............................ ex-liverpool thats all rated all three as up there with the best in there respective positions........................not! we welcome henry to our team, you lot couldnt lick his f**ing boots
As much as I agree that Henry was quality I still cant get over that handball against Ireland! One of the biggest cheating incidents i have ever seen in football which i'm sure he regrets! Lost respect for him then!
I don't like the guy and hated him as manager of Newcastle but to give him his due: "Souness's playing career is best remembered for his seven seasons at Liverpool, where he won five League Championships, three European Cups and four League Cups." That's not too shoddy.
I remember about 6 or 7 years ago mate him and Gerrard were on Goals on Sunday, never have I seen 2 lads who were in their prime at the time be so straight, honest and natural, this was a time when they were both playing great but the team was a million miles short, like today I've liked him since, him & Neville have been surprisingly brilliant for Sky, really top class, Thierry for me will only add to that.
Yeah and his suits will be better! It's great entertainment as well at times, the chemistry is perfect. Carragher and Nev constantly rip their former sides to bits at every opportunity. Different level to the Souness/Redknapp chat, I never find myself saying 'wtf are u going on about' at carra and nev.
Aye, Redknapp, I do think his knowledge and input is improving like, but it's still piss poor and a bit like a 'point feed', I think you can tell that the analysis isn't actually his a lot of the time. You always get the impression Carra & Nev are like you and your pals, enjoying watching the game and having a bit craic about it. I thought Nev might be a bit dull for it, but he's ****ing superb, a bit like he was as a player, not an eye catcher, but always done his thing to an immaculate standard. BT are trying to go after Sky and there perfect set up with ****ing Owen man, while Sky draft in one of the coolest ****ers that ever lived to join a team that makes the non-footy parts almost as interesting as the game itself.
Haha Scholes works for BT too, he's everything you'd expect Scholes to be in front of a camera, he looks completely bored and unimpressed with every player. I like the ref input that BT have mind, that was a good idea. Shame about Owen on commentary as you say, very dull and monotonous.
