Reporting that we have put another bid in for fuller, does this mean Stoke have reduced demands, I personally think he wouldnt be a bad option for around 2 million, but a lot of people seem to think we should avoid the lad at all costs.
Stoke say we have made a bid. Sunderland say no we have not, so says the transfer man. Why is it always us.
I can see us geting a forward in the dying seconds of the transfer window as we play hard ball, be it Fuller or someone else. Why isnt Elmander being mentioned much, inst his contract up soon? Think hed be a good signing. Heard Bruce was at Boltons last game?
I posted about Elamander last night, better player imo and this season he has found the net 10 times, Bolton have openly stated they are strapped for cash and would have to.consider selling elamnder and cahill. With elamanders contract they could lose him for nothing, so I think a bid of 4m could get the ball rolling. I like fuller but elmander is younger so if it didn't work out well we'd recoup a bigger fee at the end of the day. Really hope we get a striker in this window even if its a stop gap, if not id be on the phone to Oldham to get young Tounkara back from his loan.
Maybe Bruce was at Botlon's last game because they were playing Chelsea - our next opponents. Just a thought....
