Newcastle playmaker Hatem Ben Arfa could be a target for other clubs after some eye-catching performances but he says he is happy at St James’ Park and has no intention of leaving, although he is not ruling anything out if an exciting offer comes in.
(Suggests an exciting offer is going to come in if you ask me)

Reports from the North East suggest that Sunderland defender Matt Kilgallon is ready to snub interest from Leeds United and fight for a first-team place at the Stadium of Light.
(Rather happy about this as he seemed to be fight and play extremely well when called upon, especially in both games against Man City)

More news from Italy, with Lazio quashing speculation that they are close to signing Trabzonspor striker Burak Yilmaz.
(Suggests we are less likely to sign him)

And the same newspaper reports that Adam Johnson's wage demands are threatening to scupper a bid by Sunderland for the Manchester City forward.
(Thought this might be a problem, but surely he realises that he could not get on the same wages here, therefore I think a loan may be more appropriate)

A story has resurfaced from earlier in the summer. Sky Sports understands Liverpool's move for free agent midfielder Mohamed Diame is back on. It seemed the deal was over after Kenny Dalglish’s sacking. But Brendan Rodgers has given the green light.
(Would hate for Liverpool to sign him, think he is a good player who maybe we should be looking at)
