Hill is desperate for a new contract, even as a reserve. You'd have to think Faurlin would accept too. I think greens decision depends on the terms.
Can't believe Clint has been offered a new contract. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy's attitude, commitment etc but the harsh reality is his lack of pace has become a liability at the back. Should have offered him an assistant coaching role
I’d be happy if Hill was 4th choice centre back. A similar role to what Nelsen was brought in to do although he ended up 1st choice. Hill has said he will be happy performing this role and not getting many games and that’s ideal for squad harmony as well. He wont be grumpy at not starting and he’s a good person to have pn the training ground and in the dressing room. Also as mentioned want Traore to stay- Think he’ll continue to improve and learn. Also another option at left back if injuries happen.
Well I'm happy Hill and Green were some of are better players from last season....Really hope we don't let Traore go
He said he's happy being a reserve and we all know he's a key part if the dressing room. I believe he will be our coach next summer. I'm OK as long as he's not a starter and never plays lb.
Yes, there's 2 spots for every position, plus 3 for goalies. If we go with 3 CBS, one red card or injury and we won't have a cb on the bench.
I would say so- 2 players in every position with exception of 3 for goalie. That gives you 23 players. Add to that at least one specialist flair player, e.g. Ravel and a utility player Also British youngsters dont coutn towards the 25. So not even sure Ravel or a Matt Phillips would count. Coll Donaldson, Harriman etc definitely wouldn't
I would have thought Green would be asking will I be playing or on the bench ie is this a sign Cesar is gone.
I don't think that's a question we could answer, I'd want someone else to be bought in to challenge him for the no one,not someone like Murphy who isn't very good.
