He said he mentioned it to Arsenal 4 or 5 weeks ago and we're waiting for them to get things moving and let us know what's possible.
Out of the clubs linked (West Ham, Sunderland, Swansea, Newcastle, Southampton and us) i'd say we would be amongst 1 of the favourites Sunderland - Signed Billy Jones this window, would they want another Rb? Newcastle - Signed Jaammat who is arguably the better rb Southampton - Talk of him being loaned as part of the Chambers deal, but Clyne also arguably better That leaves us, West Ham and Swansea from the linked clubs. I'd say West Ham are favourites at the minute but lets hope Bruce can work some of his magic

We currently have: LB: Figueroa (liability), Dudgeon (missed a season with injury), and soon Robertson (untried at anything like this level) RB: Rosenior, Elmo (defensively weak) We definitely need at least one fullback.
You're right. Our squad past the first 11 is slightly thin. But at least the first 11 is about ready (left back needed).
Who do you suspect will fill your left back role? It seems a few are being snapped up e.g Robertson/Cresswell etc.
If I were them I think I'd go for Clyne. He can play either side and it would make it even more difficult for Southampton. Mind you, Leicester haven't been given £75M in Southampton gift vouchers like Liverpool seem to have been so they might sign somebody from another club.
Who the **** is Robertson? We've not really been linked with anyone at left back and to be fair, I'm not in the 'Schlupp isn't good enough' camp. I just think we can improve in that area. I also think that, if we're going to go with a midfield 3 then I'd like to see us go for Leroy Fer (around 6m).
Really highly rated 20 year old left back from Dundee U who's available for £2-3M. Not seen him myself, but obviously living up here I know people who watch Scottish football a lot and they think he's a great player at that price.
Phil Buckingham now tweeting that we haven't bid £3m for Carlo and that any deal would be a loan deal which even that is unlikely to happen.
