    Finally, a defensive pairing that looks good, hopefully a long term partnership. Morgan was immense today, the no nonsense defender we haven't seen since Brown. SSL has been one of a couple of players who are consistently performing above average and showing commitment over the last couple of weeks.

    To think that a defender signed from a relegated club last season and one signed from a 'doomed' east mids club will (at least on merit) keep out a '£5 mill' player and one that kept a clean sheet all the way through the AFCON.

    Good to see that we have 5 solid centre backs, but i see trouble ahead.

    The pairing did well. Think Morgan started cos we assumed Holt would play. As it happened, I think we could have played a couple of academy players in central defence cos Norwich couldnt hit goal if they tried yesterday. I hope they are saving that for their next match against the mancs. Be interesting to see who we have as central defenders at the start of next season - personally, can see both Tunch and Sol elsewhere.
    I am a Mills fan, and remember when we signed him he thanked the Reading fans for sticking with him, especially for his first season with them. Seems he needs time to settle with a club before he produces his best. He still has the potential to be one of the best central defenders in England. Has made some amazing blocks for us this season. Must remember that he has played most of his games alongside Sol. Be interesting to see the 3 of them together sometime in a 3-5-2. Should we experiment with that in the last few games of the season ?

    I'd like to see this for the Derby game;

    Schmeichel
    Peltier St Ledger Morgan Koncheskey
    Danns Wellens Drinkwater
    Nugent Beckford Marshall

    If Drinkwater is still unfit to play then put Delfouneso in there and play 4-4-2.
