Lustig and Matthews have never been fit at the same time in 3 ****ing years pud!! I have also noticed Kayal and Bitton never play at same time, one always comes off for the other!! Like the idea of Commons in deeper role, give me 5 and I will do my team

Commons is slows us down too much, playing 2 upfront we need pace and someone who can make the right decision. I think he could do a job in my midfield 3 if we had an injury or loss of form anywhere

Wouldn't really have said Commons played as a midfielder last season, the system under Lennon was setup for Commons but that impacted the striker who was pretty much a decoy runner for Commons to come in from deep and use the space created from the run. That can work fine domestically but in CL it wascawful to watch as he hasn't the ability to play the killer ball he seems to think he can. Sometimes we just need to keep the ball either by having a run with it or playing a simple pass, he can do neither. He will try an impossible pass which loses the ball or a shot from 40 yards out.......if thats creative then we're ****ed. His form has been hit and miss since he's been here, good start, awful second year, great last season and although still very early he has looked gash and uninterested this season. Like Beckham and Giggs I think he could do a job deeper knocking the ball round.
All that really matters is a players overall contribution to winning football matches, agreed? Is there a bigger contributor than Commons? I think the guy has been a really good Celtic player, I think he is desperate to stay, and I hope he gets what he wants
