With the 7 loans returning to their clubs (Yakubu, Kamara, Bruma, Vitor, Mee, Van Aanholt, Naughton) Sven will have to start rebuilding. I would imagine some of the loans will come back either loan or permanent. We have our players out on loan returning (Hobbs, N'Guessan, Schlupp, Neilson, Moussa). Sven has said that Jack Hobbs is still part of his plans but that can change and depending on the loan players Hobbs may still leave. I think we should keep Hobbs as he is more then good enough and it allows us to spend the money in other areas. Sven says the same applies to Martyn Waghorn. Sven also has to decide weather Tunchev is worth a risk of another contract He said that clubs have shown interest in both players plus other so Sven has alot of work to do. With free agents avalible to talk to Sven has said there could be business happening soon. We have been linked with Keiren Westwood and Marlon King who are both free agents now. Also Sven has said he is drawing up the retained list. A few academy players who are out of contract have already been told and Michael Lamey has been told he has no future. I expect people like Ashley Chambers, Aman Verma, Conrad Logan, Robbie Neilson, Moreno, Tom Kennedy, Leon Crncic all to be released. Sven also has to decide if people like Moussa, Schlupp are ready for the first team yet or would they be better off out on loan again. Should be a busy summer but then again it always is with us
I go to a lot of York City games - as i currently live their. A good friend and house mate's dad is the financial director of the club and has confirmed that Chambers is released. They are now waiting to see if they can get a better player before deciding whether or not to offer him a contract. Certainly not the biggest insider gossip - but when dealing with the Minstermen im going to struggle for "Beckham on his way to the Walkers with Messi riding shotgun!"
