Proud, I know its off topic, but how imense was Sol-The Wall-Bamba today He was world class, involved in everything good about our defence
Bamba was brilliant today. Best game in a city shirt. And i dont find it a coincidence his best performace came with a quality centre half next to him both Mills and St. Ledger done well. The whole back 5 did brilliantly. Just 2 counter attacks by a world class team broke through. In 180 minutes against Valencia and Real Madrid we have only conceded 3 goals. Sven has spent the money wisely and sorted the defence out. Schmeichel made a few good saves and even shouted at his defenders and commanded his area. Some which cost Weale
Also, Mills should have been off the pitch before first was scored, he looked very groggy and it showed, Kasper belowed at him when the goal went in and he turned and walked straight over towards the bench. Thought Wellens looked a biy ropey in the first half? The rest worked really hard against argubly the second best team in the world? Especially first twenty of the second half! MOM Bamba/Kasper - both saved the day IMO
Think Abe serves a defensive mention too, although he couldnt really release the ball once he had won it
