That’s a ludicrously huge squad which still leaves us mysteriously short in some positions.

Some of these players have to be sold, sharpish.

 

There are lot of players there who will spend most of their time playing for the academy with maybe only the odd bench appearance here and there. I think you're allowed a squad of 25, but that can be supplemented by as many under-21s as you like.

 

You only need a squad of 25 in the championship, you can add development players (U21) any time you want without giving them a squad number. Are they all meant to train together?

I assume quite a few of them will be loaned out. That squad has 8 CBs in it and 4 keepers.

 

I had edited my post before your reply hit. As I said, a lot of academy (U21) players there.

 

Where are the goals coming from? I don't want to be a 'Kelman told you so'
