for those bored of tiger baiting and a lack of transfer news, just looked at the pre season training pics on lcfc.com and their training tops could reveal some of next years squad numbers: 9 jamie vardy 6 ritchie de laet 8 neil danns 5 wes morgan 18 jeff schlupp 16 martyn waghorn dyer and beckford the same, cant quite read matt james or paul gallaghers,presume kingy willstill be 10, wonder if nugent will have a lower number or did he choose 35 for a reason? i would have though beckford would have got the 9 shirt but hey ho probably nobody cares....
Wouldn't get too excited at this stage ... but if they are entirely random they are uncannily (if coincidentally) close to positions!

To be fair, random or not, they are pretty much nailed on morgan and danns have always worn 5 and 8, and i thought it might start a descussion which didnt involve originalwankerman or some other northern twat. And i beg to differ that they are random, because last season the players numbers on training gear turned out tio be the real numbers. You are telling me that players wear a different number every training game? they will be the numbers mark my words, and danns 8 will be on the back of mine, cos mainly its cheap lol
I;d be surprised if they were not the numbers they'll get. But there will be changed in numbers here and there before the end of the summer. Vardy with 9, I thought Nugent might get that.
Didn't Nugent wear 10 at Portsmouth? Presumably he just took a random number because King was already 10, might take 13 or something now Vassell's gone. We have quite a few empty single digit numbers with the departures of Paintsil (4), Mills (5), Bamba (6), Oakley (8), Howard (9) and possibly Peltier (2).
