Alright chaps anyone know when the squad numbers come out? Want Sessegnon on the back of my home top but it would just be my luck that I get 28 on the back and he gets the number 10 top (which he had at PSG and wears for Benin I think) after Jordan's departure to Liverpool
I'd expect Sess to get 10, i'd definitely hang fire. It could be that 10 is given to a new striker mind, but i personally think 10 should always be a 'star creative player' number, and that's Sess. Frazier may lose the 9 shirt if he's out for the season, so new striker may get that.
Seems likely that Gyan will get number 3, be interesting to see what number Kieran gets, last summer 10-3 was a clear indication he was intended as first choice left back, but before his injury, he was playing pretty well in midfield.
Will gyan still be 33 or will he move to Number 3 and Ricco move to a midfield number?? Who will be number 1 as well with Westwood almost done and Gordon injured till 35th Septober 2056 (probably!!) Will it be the Mig or will it be Westwood?? ** Edited - BB stole my Thunder!!
Would of thought Gyan would stay at 33, as for Richardson he was our best player (form wise) up untill his injury playing behind the striker. as for Westwood would imagine he will take the vacant 13 top
Gyan's lucky number is 3 mate, he wears it for Ghana, has it shaved in his hair, and has it on a knecklace! I doubt Ricco will be too reluctant to give up 3, so i reckon Gyan to 3 is nailed on! Who's our 7? And 11? Brain block... 11's vacant ain't it, after Bent going? That may be Ricco's number...
12's a **** number ain't it? For some reason it just screams 'not quite good enough...' Quite apt for Marcus it seems.. 21 and 23 are good numbers.
