EBOUE HAS NO NUMBER!!! Gervinho has taken his. Looks like he's gone folks.

No no1 jersey for Chesney as Almunia is still there. No no.9 and no no.12 either!!

    Surprised?

i have been waiting for ages to find out the numbers of the players this season but i thought that wenger was waiting to see who else we signed.
really hope eboue doesn't leave as he is the 'joker' of the pack apparently, and every arsenal player says this.
i hope Alex Oxlade Chamberlain really makes a name for himself this season at arsenal, and i think should we have signed him slightly earlier, he may have been in contention to start (or atleast be on the bench) this weekend as theo isn't 100% fit/just coming back from injury.
i think we should keep bendtner this season, play him more than chamakh and when we get rid of cesc, buy in a creative midfielder but who is also powerful

  3. I think it's a shame the No 1 shirt was not given to Szczes since he is indeed our No 1 keeper. There are names there which should have been offloaded over the summer and names which should already have appropriate shirts!!

Wonder what the chances are of a new CB making the trip to Newcastle. I'm not holding my breath.

i would say that he will be our number 1, but the number on his back wont be.
in pre-season, both fabianski and mannone have not looked brilliant by any means, and wojciech made the postition his own last year, and it would be very harsh to take it away after a very impressive first season. Many people are saying he is too young and inexperienced to be our number 1, but Iker Casillias was playing in goal for Real Madrid 1st team at the age of 18 and it has paid privilledges for him. (just saying that it is not nesessarily a bad thing starting soo young, as he can gain experience and grow in confidence and get to know the team, also become a major leader). Age should not be a factor in how good someone is, if he is ready which everyone (bar a few) believe he is, then play the lad. He came in, during a very high pressure season and did himself and the club proud.
    Well played Wojciech.
