Not reading too much into the numbers tbh. Most have kept the same numbers as last year and sometimes players have a superstition about a certain number. The fact we don't have a number 3 doesnt mean we are about to buy one - its more likely that Cunningham preferred the number 17 shirt instead.

Fingers crossed we'll get a couple more in before the deadline; but I'd rather get no one than someone who wont make the right impact on the first term. I'm really happy with the 4 we've got so far.

No Number 3;
I have a little suspicion that DMc has a target for right sided centre back that none of us have heard of via the last three months rumour machine.
BUT that if it does not happen by let's say Cardiff City game, then he will sign Mark Wilson as an extra body who can play all across the back four.
Where is number 35 going? Any rumours on that one? As far away as possible please.

It was the numbers they have been wearing in pre season. Made me wonder what number Elliott would take.

Wilson has been wearing no 3.

I love it that the Fans number is now 40. Seems every year it gets a higher number
