That leaves us: GK: n/a LB: Dawson CB: Cooper CB: Chester RB: Rosenior, McShane LW: Devitt, Kilbane DM: Harper, Olofinjana AM: Belaid (our option), Cairney, Bullard RW: Koren, Ghilas CF: Fryatt, Simpson CF: McLean, Cullen Can't say I'm too bothered about any of the out of contract players going, Barmby will probably get another year because he's also on the coaching staff. That's looking like being over ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã3M off the wage bill as well. Any thoughts?
Oxleys out of contract? Well for the money to keep him we may as well, he should go out on loan and get some experience really. I know he had a short spell at Grimsby, but would be good to see how he gets on in a first team. I reckon Garcia will get a contract extension as well. I can't see Ghilas staying tbh though it would be good to see what he can do with a run in the team and if Cardiff go up they'll probably want to get Oli as Jones rates him even if some of their fan's don't. Kilbane will probably move on as well i'd have thought.
If it was up to NP I can't see any of mcshane Bullard olofinjana or ghilas still here next season. Cairney needs adding to your midfield list by the way. Interesting times ahead to see how they go about additions in the summer
I'd like to see our future "Best XI" as something like: GK: Mannone (If we can sign him) RB: Rosenior CB: Chester CB: Gerrard (If we can sign him) LB: New Player or Dawson RM: Stewart (If we can sign him) CM: Harper CM: Belaid/Koren LM: Devitt or New Player ST: Fryatt ST: McLean/Simpson I think that is a team that could certainly challenge for promotion next season, should this season remain steady.
I reckon the chances of Mannone signing permanently are a bit higher than they were given that Wenger will be bringing in a new keeper and also has Fabianski and the Polish fella (sorry can't even come close to spelling his name).
He's even turned back to almunia for today's game. I don't think it is out of the question in the summer.

For information: Last year a link was put on 606 to one of the other City sites which had a list of all our contract expiry dates in it. I copied it at the time and have updated it whenever I've seen an extension signed or a new player join so there may be errors on the older players. I also think that squad cost us about ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã15M in transfer fees, the peak I've seen was about ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã30M.
