    So, Gasheads, now that next season’s squad is beginning to take shape what do you think the team should be. Here’s my uneducated guess:

    Gough (God help us – he’s only 12!)
    Woodards Kenneth Baldvinsson Paterson
    Broghammer Gill Lund Anyinsah
    Harrold Clarkson

    Subs: L Brown, W Brown, Virgo, Smith, Richards, Zebroski

    What do we still need? I’m not convinced that Broghammer is a like-for-like replacement for Muzzy, so I would still like to sign an attacking midfielder/winger and another striker.

    Defence looking much better from this time last month. Agree with you BB, definately still need a goal scorer, and attacking midfielder/playmaker and then we really could be a force this season. Think I would go with;

    -------------Gough/Bevan (when fit)
    Woodards Kenneth Baldvinsson Paterson
    ----------Broghammer Gill Lund
    --------------------Brown
    -------------Harrold Clarkson/Richards

    Mmmm - I think I'd want to beef up our midfield a bit Chris and I don't see Lund tearing up the left flank.

    Having said that, I'd like to see Wayne get a run in the team - I reckon he could be that creative midfielder that we need as the lad has a fair range of passing ability.

    True BB but I don't think we should leave him out... In all honesty I think gill should be dropped if he doesn't start well. Is the German left or right footed?

    The Hammer is predominately left footed - usually plays left side of midfield.
