Ipswich Town have signed Manchester United midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe on loan until January.

unless something special at the right price comes along that will do, still wouldn't mind Billy Sharp on a year long loan with no recall, with an option to buy at the end!

Isn't it great to start a season with a squad of all Town-owned players with the prospect of loans only used to fill gaps from injuries, etc?

Big Al, Tunnicliffe isn't ours and I imagine part of the deal would be he has to play a certain number of games. Hopefully there's an option to extend the loan further in January.

I agree big al. Excluding tunnicliffe there ours. Mick has got in and done business early and giving himself a few weeks to get them playing together. The optimism is rising. And guru I'd too take sharp. Can't deny he's unproven in champ.

It's great we've basically got a complete squad together, I don't think there are many in the championship to have done that but I still think we lack a bit of real quality in certain areas, although not sure whether Tuncliffe could be the answer to the midfield. Still think we could do with a pacey LW and most of all a penalty box striker, I'm also not confident about our GKs tbh. Defence I'm very happy with although I'd imagine we may look sharpish to get someone on loan should we get an injury there, as a couple of injuries and we look a bit lightweight.

Rumour has it Mick is mulling over signing Alan Lee, whilst I can see why it means we have 3 target men (Lee, Murphy and Nouble) all of whom IMO are fairly average.
