Cardiff City striker Fraizer Campbell, 26, wants to leave the club after Premier League relegation and would be available for as little as £800,000 because of an escape clause in his contract. Hull City are interested. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/fraizer-campbell-close-cardiff-city-3527732 Might not be a bad punt as a squad striker. Surely better than Graham & Jozy? Very industrious & you can't fault his attitude?
3/5/14: Cardiff City striker Fraizer Campbell set to leave relegated club to join Sunderland for £5m http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...-transfer-news-campbell-3492334#ixzz31VEMvTKf
What's with the Mirror Links? This is going to be a long summer. We should ban all Mirror and Fail links. Because they talk nowt but bollocks. And no to Fraiser. His record is average. Borini has managed similar stats in the league from the inside left position.
Harder worker than Graham, but still not quite top notch, however you slice it. Altidore is decent at holding things up and makes a nuisance of himself and I feel he has goals in him, although he's keeping them well hidden ATM. They are all much of a muchness and I'd say keep Altidore, look for another Borini, sell Graham and ignore Fraizer.
i think we need to be looking forward and not backwards. im sure gus has a few ideas for strikers and where he wants to take us
5m, ffs, fif this happened it would be a ****ing joke.. Short, sort ya **** out man, stop letting the blurt distract you.
If the price was right I would say yes. He has done well at Cardiff in a terrible side. We will certainly sell Fletcher, Altidore and Graham in the summer. Bring in Campbell as a squad player and sign Borini, remember we still have Scocco who has not been fit yet. We have to be realistic about who were going to be able to attract. The most important signing will be keeping Wickham.
Wickham reminds me too much of McLean, came on against Man City (kiss, kiss Jidong?) and immediately made an impact, after a few games he was nuetralised and we all realised he was a bit limited, I think Wickham's maybe got a bit more in his bonnet than Jimmy the Twit and I've been very impressed with his development, particularly his first touch and he has generally taken his goals very well ...on balance, I'm unconvinced. But, I do believe he's young and has a great deal of potential. I don't think he's any better than a fit Fletcher or a confident Altidore, footballing-wise, our incumbents have a lot more under their respective bonnets.
