This according to kinnear was the outcome of a meeting before start of season yet we can't score goals ,there's been nowt on the bench for the first two games and pardew says he's struggling team wise for the cup game as he's got to keep Fulham in mind ,I think I'd be playing strongest team possible might be able to get some fluidity going and score some goals against a so called lesser side ! Oh hang on Stevenage ...........

Should merge this into the other 1 or 2 threads, but a point I was thinking about was how thin is the squad? We know what Pardew's favoured formation is, yes? Kind of a 4-4-1-1 type thing, or 4-5-1, or 4-3-3 depending how cr@p the opposition are. But which of the below isn't good enough for the top 10, I've done two elevens based on the 4-4-2

    Krul

    Debuchy, Colo, MYM, Santon

    Ben Arfa, Sissoko, Anita, Marveaux

    Remy, Cisse

    OR

    Elliott

    Dummett, Saylor, Willo, Haidara

    Obertan, Tiote, Bigirimana, Jonas

    Shola
    , Gouffran

Reserves; Sammy, Vuckic, Gosling, Tavernier, Good, Streete, Alnwick, Campbell, Ferguson, Richardson

Granted, there's some out of position, but we're not going to have eleven out at any one time. So Santon could conceivably play left wing, or right back. Anita could step into right back, Vuckic centre of midfield, or right wing, and so on. Raylor's still got to come back. But there's options in there. There's options to go from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 to 4-2-4 if we needed a goal, something that was beyond the manager against West Ham. We could play 3 CB's and wingbacks, we could play 2 DM's and a CM, we could play 4 full backs and let Ben arfa roam....having thought about things OUTSIDE of the misery of Ash/Kinnear, I still believe fervently that Pardew's fcking useless. Are we as desperately short as we fear, or are we just dumbstruck by the lack of real ambition? How many of the "next 4" (top 6 all but guaranteed) boast these kinds of players?

Nah, I don't buy that we should still be watching such insipid sh1t from Pardew regardless of how many players we've signed. We need a striker, sure. Replace Cabaye, looks that way. And a utility defender and winger wouldn't go amiss. But that's wishful thinking under this ar$ehole owner - in the meantime, does Pardew have a relegation squad? No, he does not. He has an inability to manage, an inability to motivate, an inability to play to strengths. Get rid of this fcking c0ck before he sinks us on his own.
