Have to admit, other than over cautious 2nd half, which cost us dear, I was quite impressed with the players. Part of me had written this season off, but I actually now believe if we appoint someone (quick) and can get into this squad of players, we have half a chance of getting out of the clarts. In his program notes, Short admits this appointment will be his biggest in his time as owner, as the wrong appoinment could have us cast aside for years. But get it right, I do think the squad can string a number of results together. The big question, who is the right manager to get the very best out of these players
